FoCo Book Fest 2026 starts on FRIDAY.
This Friday, April 10, we kick things off at the Visit Fort Collins Welcome Center with an open-mic poetry reading, an author meet + greet, and a mini bookstore event with The Crowded Bookshelf so you can grab your books before the main event.
Fort Collins Poet Laureate Melissa Mitchell will be there, along with Ally Eden, students from Compass Community Collaborative School with a 5-minute version of The Odyssey, and more.
It starts at 7:30 PM, join us for mocktails and some yummy treats by FoCo Cafe.
Then Saturday, April 11, we’re at Foothills Mall all day from 9:30 AM through 9:00 PM with panels, talks, a workshop, a graphic novel panel, and the Book Fest Marketplace with 30+ authors and creators selling their books.
All of it is pay-what-you-can and open to the public.
This week I’ll be posting a little something each day to get you ready with highlights, who’s coming, and how to find us. Keep an eye on your inbox or sign up to our newsletter (from the homepage) if you haven’t yet!
Get your tickets (free, but strongly requested so we can plan ahead):
